Overview

Flowtly includes a comprehensive holiday management system for employees, enabling efficient tracking and administration of their holiday entitlements. This feature allows employees to easily request and manage their holidays while providing managers with a robust tool to oversee and approve holiday schedules.

Key Features

  • Holiday Entitlement Tracking: Automatically calculates annual leave based on the employee's agreements and company policies. Pro-rata adjustments are made for employees who join partway through the year. Tracks leave accrual based on working hours, job size, and other variables.
  • Leave Request and Approval: Employees can submit leave requests online, specifying leave types, dates, and descriptions. Requests are routed through a predefined approval process, allowing managers to review, approve, or reject requests.
  • Leave Balances and History: Real-Time Balances, reflecting accrued, taken, and remaining leave days. Historical Records: Maintains a record of past leave requests and approvals for review and compliance.
  • Customizable Leave Policies: Allows for the configuration of different leave policies based on agreemeent type, job roles, seniority, or other criteria.
  • Integration with Payroll: Connects with payroll and HR systems to ensure that leave data is accurately reflected in payroll calculations and employee records. Ensures consistency of leave data across different systems.
  • Holiday Calendar Management: Automatically incorporates public holidays into the leave calendar to prevent conflicts and provide accurate planning. Allows for the addition of custom holidays or company-specific observances.
  • Automatic Notifications: Sends notifications for approval or rejected requests.

User Roles and Access Options (Holidays)

In Flowtly, users have access to different options based on their assigned roles. These roles determine the level of functionality available to each user. Specifically, for holiday management, user roles can be broadly divided into three categories:

  • ROLE_ADMIN: Grants full administrative access to all system functionalities.
  • ROLE_HOLIDAYS_MANAGER: This role allows managing holidays within the system. Set holiday limits for entire organization, set default limit for holiday days allocated to employees if no specific limit is set, set approval count for holidays, approve/deny holiday requests. This is parent role for ROLE_HOLIDAYS_VERIFICATOR.
  • ROLE_HOLIDAYS_VERIFICATOR: Permission to approve/reject requested holidays.
